Dokey did a fantastic job with this one. I liked the beginning of the book because I was able to understand how Belle felt that she hadn’t lived up to her name, and that s I thought that Belle was beautiful, but in different ways than I imagined. I just wish he could have lived to have seen Deirdre become Hope. Want to Read saving….

I don’t like that in a book, I like to be swept away, devouring the words And I want to introduce an interesting character to you as well! Such amazing fairytale retellings!!! Cwmeron, the second half of the story, where Belle actually takes her father’s place with the Beast, felt rushed. I was sort of able to establish ships and be happy with the endgame. On the twenty-fifth day of September, ten days after my tenth birthday, it happened to me, for on that day I performed an act I never had before.

Sometimes the conversation and the choice of words are over the top. So her father could choose a husband for her. Average rating off all the books this compilation contains. I really enjoyed this book. I do not want to spoil it for people who have not read the book yet, but I’ll say that I read how The Snow Queen ended right after I finished the book, as it is the last story, and I’ll say that I like how the real story ended.

I mean, come on! Honestly, I never understood why no one could look the Beast in the eye. I expected this to be the one I’d dislike, but goes to show you never can tell. I stepped between my two sisters, and the shadows cast by their two Beauties so overlapped each other that they completely filled the place in which I stood. The author is amazing.
My first problem with this retelling is the fact that Belle was feeling insecure with her appearance. In the end, this novel was sorely misnamed.

This book is not yet featured on Listopia. I love beauty and the beast and these stories complement that story so well. He had to watch as his wife lost interest in him, and gained interest in her own reflection to the point where she cursed her own daughter to be the Winter Child.
